On December 3, 2009 the Marblehead Rotary Club hosted Special Agent Carmine Nigro, Coordinator for Strategic Partnerships, and Dr. Edward J. Valla, Counterterrorism Analyst from the FBI Office in Boston. They briefed the Rotarians on the state of International Terrorism warning that the threat to US national security by international terrorist groups has not diminished since 9/11. |

Tanya S. DeGenova meets in Paris

Do you recognize these three unsavoury characters
- networking does not necessarily stop
after the AGM's and regional meetings as
Tanya DeGenova, Goolam Monsoor and Graham
Dooley will tell you. And what an international
trio! Tanya's roots go back to France,
Germany and Russia; Goolam to Mauritius
and Graham to Ireland and the UK.
They specialize in the hunt for international
criminals and tracing missing persons in
Europe and what better place for a discreet
meeting than the streets of Paris? Notice who
is drinking the "Perrier"!
Operation RV Belge - well why did they use
that name ? Unfortunately if they tell you they
may have to shoot you !!!!!!
Tanya was on a whistle stop tour and the
three met in Paris - a hot sticky evening with
seething temperatures of 34°C at 8 pm. Tanya
then spent a couple of days enjoying the Celtic
Hospitality of Brittany in France with Graham
and his partner Carryn. Temperatures dropped
to a more comfortable 22° with a few light
showers. She then moved on to spend the
weekend in Dijon with Joel Auribault, Fabienne
and Neva and finally on to Germany.
Graham spent a pleasant few days in August
camping and fishing in Brittany ( where
he could not receive any signals via mobile or
email - lovely ) and Goolam also went to Brittany
with his family to stay with his wife’s
family who originates from that region of
France.
